About This Position
The Air Support Group Supervisor: Not Specified 1.Establishesortransitionsintoagroupunderthe Operations Sectioninthe Incident Command System(ICS) 2.Supervisesandconfiguresthegroupwithunitsasnecessary 3.Coordinatesthegroundneedsofflightcrewsandtheiraircraftinconjunctionwith the Air Operations Branch Director 4.Assistsandcoordinateswiththe Air Tactical Group Supervisortohelpensure missionsuccessandcrewsafety 5.Assiststhe Air Tactical Group Supervisorand Air Operations Branch Director duringin-flightemergencies(IFE) 6.Ensurestheavailabilityofandaccesstoadequateaircraftservicingandfuel 7.Accountsforaircrewbetweenmissionsandprovidesforcrewrest,feedingand billetingneeds 8.Coordinateswithlocalairfieldmanagersandfixedbaseoperators(FBO) 9.Reportsmission-essentialinformationtothe Air Operations Branch Director 10.Coordinateswiththe Air Tactical Group Supervisortoprovideinformationtothe Air Operations Branch Directorforthedailysituationreport
Training Requirements
Completionofthefollowing: The National Incident Management System(NIMS)Training Programdefinesa 1.IS-100:Introductiontothe Incident Command System,ICS-100 nationalbaselinetoguideandpromote NIMStraining.Itprovidesrecommendations 2.IS-200:Basic Incident Command Systemfor Initial Response,ICS-200 toassist AHJsindevelopingtheirowntrainingplans,tailoredtotheirspecificneeds. 3.ICS-300:Intermediate Incident Command Systemfor Expanding Incidents 4.ICS-400:Advanced Incident Command Systemfor Commandand General Staff– Complex Incidents 5.IS-700:National Incident Management System,An Introduction 6.IS-800:National Response Framework,An Introduction 7.E/G/L0191:Emergency Operations Center/Incident Command System Interface 8.Authority Having Jurisdiction(AHJ)-approved Air Support Group Supervisor course 9.AHJ-approved Introductionto Air Operationscourse
Experience
