The Damage Assessment Team–Public Works: 1.Recordsanddocumentsobservationswithdigitalphotographyandvideorecording 2.Estimatesdisasterdamageintermsofmagnitudeandmonetaryvalue 3.Receivesinitialdamagereportsfromthe Rapid Needs Assessment Team 4.Providesageneraldamageassessmentandcoordinateswithspecializedteams,suchasthe Repair Team–Sewer Mainsorthe Repair Team–Water Pump Facilities,todevelopin-depthassessmentandrepairestimates 5.Coordinateswithincidentcommand,Emergency Operations Center(EOC)andotherdamageassessmententitiestoidentifyandprioritizeareasneeding assessment 6.Coordinateswith Authority Having Jurisdiction(AHJ)regardingnecessaryrepairestimates
