About This Position
The Donations Specialistreportstothe Donations Coordination Task Force Leader, Not Specified Donated Goods Warehouse Management Team Leader,Donations Call Center Supervisororotherdesignatedsupervisor,andperformsthefollowingfunctions: 1.Helpscreateandimplementthevolunteeranddonationsportionoftheoperations plan 2.Helpsmanagetheflowofdonatedgoods,fundsandservicesduringtheresponse andrecoveryphases 3.Maintainsopencommunication,suchasviaconferencecallsande-mail,withthe appropriatestakeholders,includingrepresentativesoffederal,state,local,tribaland territorialgovernments,Voluntary Organizations Activein Disaster(VOAD), community-basedorganizationsandtheprivatesector 4.Assiststhe Donations Call Center Supervisor,ifactivated,andsupportscall centeroperations 5.Provideslogisticalsupport,suchastransportationtoandfromthelocal warehouse,andsecuresfacilityspace,equipmentandsupplies 6.Supportsdonationscoordinationfunctionsasrequestedbythe Donations Coordination Task Force Leader
Training Requirements
