The FMDPMULeaderreportstothe Mass Fatality Management Group Supervisor Not Specified ordesigneeand: 1.Manages DPMUpersonnel 2.Maintainsandassemblesequipment 3.Coordinatesfacilityissues,suchastransportation,foodservices, communications,Information Technology(IT)supportandmedicalservicesfor DPMUmembers 4.Ensuresresourcesareinplaceforsecurityaroundthe DPMU 5.Monitors DPMUpersonnelforphysical,emotionalandpsychologicalfatigue 6.Establishesandmaintainsliaisonwithassignedchannelsforlogisticalsupport 7.Coordinates DPMUeffortsasnecessaryforthe Emergency Operations Center, Mass Fatality Management Group,FMAssessment Team,FMHuman Remains Recovery Team,Morgue Identification Center(MIC),Victim Information Center(VIC) and Family Assistance Center(FAC) 8.Actsasliaisonorassignspersontointerfacewith Public Information Officer(PIO) or Joint Information Center(JIC)
Training Requirements
Completionofthefollowing: NIMSTraining Programdefinesanationalbaselinetoguideandpromote NIMS 1.IS-100:Introductiontothe Incident Command System,ICS-100 training.Itprovidesrecommendationstoassist Authorities Having Jurisdiction(AHJ) 2.IS-200:Basic Incident Command Systemfor Initial Response,ICS-200 indevelopingtheirowntrainingplans,tailoredtotheirspecificneeds 3.ICS-300:Intermediate Incident Command Systemfor Expanding Incidents 4.ICS-400:Advanced Incident Command Systemfor Complex Incidents 5.IS-700:An Introductiontothe National Incident Management System 6.IS-800:National Response Framework,An Introduction 7.E-191:Emergency Operations Center/Incident Command System Interface
