The HMEngineeringand Architect Specialist: Sourcesofhazarddatainclude:Earthquakehazardmaps,Flood Insurance Rate 1.Providestechnicalassistanceformitigationprojectgrantapplications,including Maps(FIRM),Flood Insurance Studies(FIS),otherfloodstudies,engineering the HMgrantprogram,Public Assistance(PA),and HMassistance studies,windspeedmaps,high-watermarks,topographicmaps,damagefunction 2.Reviews PA(Stafford Act Section406),HMgrantprogram(Stafford Act Section reports,Burned Area Emergency Responsereports,andotherrelevanttechnical 404),andothermitigationprojectapplications resources. 3.Conductssitevisitsinsupportofmitigationprojectsandapplicationdevelopment 4.Supportsandcollaborateswith HMstaffinidentifying,developing,andreviewing mitigationprojectsforeligibilityandtechnicalfeasibility 5.Providesdesignandengineeringanalysestohelpdevelopmitigationproject scopesandcostestimates 6.Developscostestimatesforproposedmitigationprojects 7.Reviewsarchitecturaldesignsforthe HMgrantprogramtoconfirmsoun
