About This Position
The IMT: 1.Deploystomanageemergencyresponses,incidentsorplannedeventsrequiringahighercapabilityorcapacitylevelthantherequestingjurisdictionor organizationcanprovide 2.Assistswithincidentmanagementactivitiesduringall-hazardsevents,includingnaturalandhuman-causedevents,aswellasplannedevents 3.Assumesmanagementoftheincidentfortherequestingjurisdictionoragency,orsupportsalocal Incident Commander(IC)or Unified Commandandits IMTinmanaginganincidentorevent 4.Directsandtrackstacticalresourcesthatthe Authority Having Jurisdiction(AHJ)andothersupportingorganizationsprovide 5.Performs Command,Operations,Planning,Logistics,Finance/Administration,Safety,Public Informationand Liaisonfunctions,astheincidentrequires 6.Coordinateswith Emergency Operations Center(EOC)personnel,the AHJandagencyadministratorsregardingincidentmanagementobjectivesand support 7.Typicallysupportsincidentmanagementactivitiesofacorrespondingincidentcomplexity;forexample,a Type2IMTtypicallysupportsa Type2incident 8.Hasshort-andl
