The Logistics Support Team: 1.Helpsaffectedjurisdictionsmanagetheirlogisticsfunctionsandprocesses,includingacquiringanddistributingmaterialresources 2.Helpsthejurisdictiontrackandaccountforresourcesdeployedthroughouttheoperationalarea 3.Helpsthejurisdictionoverseedailyinventories,identifyresourcegapsandrecommendappropriatetypesandquantitiesofresourcestofillthegaps 4.Supportsandcoordinateswith Pointsof Distribution(POD),Commodity Planning Units,Logistics Staging Areas(LSA),and Base Camp Teams 5.Collaborateswith Voluntary Organizations Activein Disaster(VOAD),Planning Section,Operations Sectionandother Incident Command System(ICS) entitiesasnecessary
