About This Position
The Palliative Care Teamprovidesarangeofservicesinavarietyofsettings,notedabove.Thisteam: 1.Providesend-of-lifemedicalservices,comfort,specialtypainmanagementandsupport,includinghydrationandnutrition 2.Providesspecialtypainmanagement,othersymptomcontrol,andpsychological/behavioralhealthguidanceforpatients 3.Providesguidance,training,andpsychologicalsupporttocaregivers,tohelpthemadapttothecurrentsituation 4.Supportsfamilymembersandotherlovedones,includingthroughend-of-lifeandbereavementcounseling 5.Providessupportandtrainingtothepatient,familymembers,andotherlovedones 6.Assiststhepatient,family,andstaffwithdifficultmedicaldecisionsandidentificationoftreatmentoptions 7.Servesasaprofessionalresourceonpalliativecareguidelinesandparameters
