The Public Works Support Team: 1.Supportslocalpublicworksdepartmentsduringincidentresponseoperationsandmovesintorecoveryactivitiesasnecessary 2.Providesbackupreliefforlocalpublicworksdepartmentstaffduringextendedoperations 3.Supportsnormalpublicworksoperationsinadditiontoemergencyresponseneeds 4.Reviewsdamageassessmentsandcostestimatesforrepairandreplacementrecordedbythe Damage Assessment Team–Public Worksandother sources,asthe Authority Having Jurisdiction(AHJ)determines 5.Ismultidisciplinaryandmayprovidesupportinthefollowingareas,basedonincidentneed: a.Solidwastemanagement b.Roadwayandbridgemaintenanceandconstruction c.Trafficmanagement d.Fleetmanagement e.Buildingmanagement f.Water,wastewater,stormwaterandreusewatermanagement g.Publicandprivateutilities h.Parksandurbanforestry i.Otherpublicworksfunctions,asnecessary
